The purpose of QuiltFest, Inc. is to preserve the heritage of quilting, to be a source of information and inspiration, to perpetuate a high quality of excellence in quilting and related arts, and to coordinate an annual exhibition of this art form.

Each of the seven guilds will be selling tickets for their Guild's 2019 Opportunity Quilt. Tickets to win these quilts may be purchased from any guild member and they will be available at the show. Drawing will be held on the last day of the show. You do not have to be present to win.

The QuiltFest Board is made up of 4 representatives from each of the 7 sister guilds. We meet monthly year-round to plan the annual quilt show held at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida - usually the last weekend of September. We also participate in activities in the Jacksonville area that promote quilting and the quilt show.

  • President -  Isabelle Frost
  • Vice President -Krista Cline
  • Treasurer - Elaine Stemetzki
  • Secretary - Mary Alice Howe

Profits from the Silent Auction at QuiltFest go to the local Shriner's Transportation Fund to aid in transporting children in our area for medical care and treatment. Me Dolls are delivered to local children's hospitals. Pillowcases are given to Wolfson's Childrens Hospital, Nemours Childrens Clinic and Pedscare as a part of the Ryan's Case For Smiles project. Proceeds from Quilters Walk go to the QuiltFest Educational Grant which is distributed to the Seven Sister Guilds to support continuing quilting education.

The Seven Sister Guilds individually support a variety of charities including food banks, Quilts of Valor for service men and women, Linus, and Hospice. Please visit the display of our projects during the show.
